Tell me about PSA 9 (OC) -- grade it or not?

Hi everybody,
About 2 years ago, I acquired a great looking 1993 Finest REF of Cal Ripken. It has sharp, hard corners and edges, no refractor lines, and a perfect surface. HOWEVER, it does have a slight centering problem. I used strict criteria and found the card to be 60/40 L/R and 28/72 T/B. I could easily have said 30/70, but I'm trying to be as honest with myself as possible.
Here's my question. I feel confident this card will grade a PSA 9, but I am 50:50 on whether or not it might come back with an (OC) qualifier. IF it gets a qualifier, how will that hurt the value of the card? This month's Beckett seems to suggest it will grade a card down a half grade (9 --> 8.5). Anyone else have any comments or stories?
P.S. I'd be happy to post this card, but I don't have a scanner and can't photograph it with my dig. camera.
Thanks for reading.

that would knock it down to a 7 if you don't want a qualifier, thus it'd be a 9OC at best.

edit to add: if it's a 9oc, that shouldn't hurt it though. whether it's graded or raw, the centering is obviously off, but if the other features are in fact mint, getting it graded should bring the value up.
there are very few instances where cards sell for more ungraded when in the same condition graded. there was a huge debate recently of a guy buying psa 5's with great eye appeal, and cracking them, and they'd sell for more.
