The only thing that I'm thinking is that the card was not his. Maybe a local dealer is selling it, he took a picture and
put it on eBay trying to make some quick money. Sell it high, buy the card from the dealer, and keep the hugh profit.

Well, if he sells a PSA 5 Ryan with a $250 sticker on it for $1500, I want him to sell my cards. BIN was $2K. What's he think he's got there, a PSA 9?

It's perfectly legal and even moral to ask $1500 for a $250 card, as long as you don't claim you were robbed and it should have been graded mint, or that its book value is that high. The pursuit of happiness includes asking 6x actual value for an item, I suppose. Heck, retailers do it all the time. I just thought it was funny, with the actual value being stuck on the card.

1968 Topps Nolan Ryan Rookie PSA 5!
I think you have mistakenly put an extra "0" on your selling price. The auction starts at 1500, but the price tag on the card says 250??

    My email to him buahhahahahahahha

I havent checked out many prices lately on graded stuff, but would $200-$250 be a fair price on this card?
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

That's about right. PSA 5 is worth $250, according to SMR. You might get it for as little as $200 on eBay, or if the centering is nice and it's a heavy-action night it might go to $300.
