1952 Topps lot--to PSA or KSA (or neither)????

I have a large group of '52 Topps that I am uncertain about. If I send them off to PSA they will come back as 3s, 4s & 5s (with a few 6s), so they are not high grade. Moreover, I live in Canada, so when you throw in the increased to and fro postage and insurance rates, and the likely fees I will incur from Canada Customs, it will add up to a significant amount of money. I also thought of sending them off to KSA. They have a July special right now (2 cards for $15 CDN) and there will be no Customs hassle. My other option is to simply sell them raw. Any thoughts?? I have attached a few scans so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about.....my first time, so I hope it worksimage

PS. Argh.....apparently my file size is too big (first time I have ever heard anybody complain about my size).

w/o even seeing your cards I would suggest PSA, 52 topps cards are in demand even in mid grade, good luck

Not sure where you are in Canada, eyebone, but a friend of mine submits to PSA through Len Pottie, apparently without the usual hassle at the border. You might want to consider that option or find out if there are authorized dealers in your area that you could submit through. I don't know that KSA would be a great option for vintage baseball. Hockey, maybe. But probably not baseball.

I appreciate your input so far guys.

Argh....now it is telling me that the "type of file you are trying to upload is not permitted". WTF....there only pics of baseball cards. Any advice out there?

I will do better next time.......but at least I hope this gives you a general idea of the cards (there are many more) and the overall condition. Any other advice is appreciated.

Well, it's tough to really evaluate those scans for a precise grade, but I think you called it right in your opening post as far as the expected grades. Those are of course key cards in your scans - definitely get them graded. For any creased, low grade type, 52 commons, it doesn't pay to get them graded - you won't make up the cost of the grading fees in added selling prices for cards like that.
