Worth it to grade commons? ('75 Topps minis)

I just recently bought a raw '75 mini California Angels team set just for the Ryan. I notice while going through cards, there were several specimens that looked really great (possible 9's or better), but no one of real significance. There was Tanana rookie, a Mickey Rivers, but mostly just common players long forgotten.
Anyway, I'm not sure what to do with these cards. They're too good to chuck out, but I'm not convinced they're worth the expense of grading. Do you guys even bother with cards like this? Thanks.

Are you going to grade them to sell? Have you checked what they will bring on ebay? Some have said that they are depressed right now?
On the Ryan - here's my mini - it's one of my favorite Ryan cards!
Wish I had his RC.

also i would check the pop report as some of them may very well be low pops and set/ team /player builders amy need them
I'm depressed right now. I just had a 71 jurgensen PSA 8 sell for $15.00. yikes...
Anyhow, if they get 9's they will garner some good money. If they get 8's you likely won't recoop the grading fees.

You may also consider trading them with an Angels collector....Good Luck....Eddie

Nice Ryan, Stone. Unfortunately, mine is no where near as nice, although it's still a nice specimen. I only paid about $40+ for the whole set so I wasn't expecting anything special.
75 Ryan
Get it graded.
