Hank died today at age 82........he was the star of the Super Bowl IV highlight film, arguably NFL Films' most entertaining production.
Yeah, of course he knew he was miked up and he hammed it up more than just a little bit, but how can you not ROFL when he walks up and down the sideline asking "Was it there boys?" when Mike Garrett pops that draw play he had just called for a TD vs. the Vikes.
During his days as the radio analyst for CBS, it was standard operating procedure for me to mute my television set and listen to Stram's call on the Monday Nite Football games...his ability to predict plays was simply uncanny.
