1899 SS Sea Gull Captians medal

Medal is French ,dated 11 December 1899 and was presented to Captain Lumley for 25 years of service sailing the S.S. Sea Gull. The medal is unique and the letters of print on the back are doubled or tripled from the hand punched salutation. There are two lions on the obverse , one on the shield and the one at the right leg.

Artist L.E. Maire 51 mm 50.6 gm Bronze.
