A. Yes !!! Just look at this Mickey Mantle card I have showed it to 3 seperate card experts and all have told me " Crack it out and resubmit this card it should be a PSA 9 which is worth about $9000" Since I am not a card expert I will let you be the judge.
Yeah, right, like HE didn't already try to cross to PSA 9. Much more likely it started out as PSA 8 and got one of the infamous GAI "bumps".
Just how stupid does he think people are? To ask them to believe that it will easily slide into a PSA 9 holder, but that he can't be troubled to do it for the extra $5,000 he'd make.
All that aside, it's a very nice card and the bidding reflects that. Hopefully nobody believes the "I was robbed" story.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this seller starts out his rant with big letters saying A JOKE PLEASE READ ON; and I don't see where the description was revised, leading me to believe that he posted this caveat from the git-go. His idea of a joke may be ill advised, but why are you guys castigating him? I don't see where he's done anything wrong, and that's a damn fine looking Mantle card.

It is, indeed. No doubt about that. I guess the "joke" is his disclaimer. In a month when someone says, "Hey! I crossed it to PSA like you said and it dropped to an 8! I paid $1,500 too much because I believed you!" he can reply "I was kidding!"
kudos to the seller, abctrading is shrewd enough to throw "PSA 9" out there to the mix.
Now could you imagine this card being a psa 9 and the seller saying "this card could be gai 10, 3 card experts say I should crack my psa 9 and resubmit....."
card is not too shabby either...
