Value shouldnt always been a major concern. At least it is not with me. My all time favorite cards are some worth only pennies. Great shots and nice attractive cards. Lance Johnson Stadium club in "old " comiskey great great photography! Just my 1/2 penny.
Hi cardcounter I assume it's still unopened since it is a mail-in offer set. The Standard Catalog of BB has the set booking for 20 bucks. They don't mention any premium for unopened sets.
I'm kind of partial to food issues and I'm with boggs on the appreciation for the set rather than value.
Maybe this belongs in the "Good ole days" thread, but I have very fond memories of the 1979 Kellogg's set. I would have been four in the summer of '79 and my Mom helped me fill out the little form to get the full set in the mail. What awesome cards they were. I had some 77, 78 and 79 cards, but nothing like the Kellogg's 3-D cards. They were great. They're still in a box somewhere...beat up, curling, cracking and everything. I should probably get another set to put away.
I'm hunting down some UD cards right now for a board member and I found this Murray card - a Kellogg 1978! Didn't remember how I got it but then the excitement was a bit short lived - there's a slight crease running horizontally on the back - very light but still there - it doesn't run thru the front.

The '83Kellogg's baseball set isn't valued much more than $10 a set. There's an "opened" set on eBay right now with 1 bid for the opening $7.00 bid.
I ordered 4 sets back then and only opened one of them. I was researching the set a few weeks ago and wasn't impressed with its value...
