I'll take the criticism...My view!

I personally collect that which I care to collect! Most of what I collect belongs to my grandkids.

My own personal collection is a small collection of Christian Gobrecht medals put out by the Hanover (PA) Numismatic Society. The one I really love is the hardest to find. I currently have three, having sold one to an unnamed forum member for his personal collection. It's particularly hard to find because most of them were confiscated by the Feds for having the word "one dollar" on it!

So, collect what you want to, in the condition and grade you wish to!

Arrgh. I collect that reverse and have about 25 different. Don't have that one though.

  • That is my collecting style also. I collect for myself and not to impress anybody else.
