pixel counter help and CSA opinion needed

What do you guys think of this card? I know nothing about CSA grading.

Seems too good to be true, esp considering the current seller bought it back in April for $1,100 on ebay and is now selling it in the same holder.

Trimmed? It certainly looks to be authentic atleast.

  • i wish i could help - i've heard mixed results, but i think the more recent the csa slab is, the worse the results.

If the goal is to get that card in a PSA holder, I'd pass. In my opinion, counting pixels is not necessary.

Edited to add: The card appears authentic.

  • The card appears to be authentic, but there is a 100% chance that the card has been altered, judging by some flare in two of the corners, I'd say the card has definitely been trimmed.

I for one, will stay far, far away...

Chapter 1, Page 1 of "The Cynic's Guide to Buying Sportscards on eBay" -- If it COULD be in a reputable holder, it WOULD be.
  • I bought a CSA 1966 Rose graded a 9 from the same seller. Low and behold it crossed to first a GAI 9 and than to a PSA 9. I really did it as an experiment since we have all of these differing opinions about that subject. The seller is completley legit, and at least as far as my Rose went that was to.

P.s. I alway's crack them out. Gai will do a cross from PSA but PSA will never do it from a Gai holder..........at least in my case. By the way after 6 or 7 where rejected that way i resubmitted them and they all were slabbed with approximetly the same grade.image

I just cracked a few CSA and sent to PSA. Didn't do too well.
55 Koufax CSA 7 to PSA 4 (ouch)
61 Cousy 7 to "evid Trim"
62 Koufax CSA 7.5 to PSA 7 (cool)
    63 Dodgers Big 3 CSA 8 to PSA 7

I didn't know much about this 7-10 years ago when I bought them. Now I won't touch them
  • interesting, it sold within $25 of the original price
  • WOW. Looks sharp. Whats the worst case GAI 8?
