Susan Estrich is a well known law professor and commentator. Many people dislike her because she strongly and effectively promotes her beliefs. She is probably most famous for her writings on rape, which are quite controversial. While some of her ideas may be unconventional, she has never failed to get me thinking about an issue in a new way. I find her to be a valuable voice in the political and legal worlds. Unfortunately, many people that disagree with her choose to demonize the woman instead of critiquing her writings and views. While that's too bad, it's not too surprising.
Her first claim to "fame" was Michael Dukakis' campaign manager - since that gig went so well she went on to being a law professor and a WAY "left" political commentator.

That is just not true. She has a very impressive career and resume that extends far beyond managing a campaign. Her book "Rape" is perhaps her most famous work and was published (I believe) before the Dukakis campaign. She also clerked on the US Supreme Court, which is something only the top .01% of lawyers can ever hope to do.
Susan Estrich is a very accomplished and impressive woman. You may not agree with her, but it is impossible to not respect her.
Has anyone here ever read a single thing Susan Estrich has written?
Thanks, Flap. It's a good way to start off a holiday weekend. I'm having second thoughts, though, about posting Susan's picture upside down so often. The reason is that I think that Rosie O'Donnell upside down is every bit as funny, if not more so, than Susan upside down.

Tough call.
"Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well."
