Good one Gemmy! At least you guys finally had the brains to cut Quantrill (although you should have cut him last year). How long will it take before the boss cuts Pavano--AT BEST, he's Kris Benson, but he hasn't even proved he can pitch at that level yet. How about the Big Unit last night eh Gemmy? Man, that guy can pitch. What a team! And yes, I know Vasquez got rocked last night, he's on another mini-swoon.

This just in - Pavano will miss at least the next start because of a "sore shoulder"... the more you see of the Yank pitching staff, the more you just shake your head in amazement - the pitching staff payroll alone is greater than almost half of the teams in MLB, and they flat out stink!

So, that makes Kevin Brown very valuable to keep on the Yankees. Their pitching staff is falling apart. Mussina, Johnson and Wang have been the dependable ones, but even they get rocked at times.
