first - PR64 (hits on the cheek), Second - PR65 (nice but lacks detail in the hair)
Both are very nice coins!
Cecil Total Copper Nutcase - African, British Ships, Channel Islands!!! 'Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup'
I graded them PF65 and PF64 respectively. Does ANACS refer to these coins are SP Select and not proof? Does anyone have any pre-1961 SA coins that have PF on the holder? I know ANACS calls many on the Canadian Dollars PL and not SP or is it visa-versa?

Wow - 68 on the first one shocks me. Especially the chatter from the cheek all the way across the ear (lots there) to the back of the head. The reverse chatter across the Jackeloupe (hehe) is a little heavy.
Must be the BIG PICs that make the contact marks look more distracting.

I'd give it a 65.

My opinion was MS64 on the first and PF65 on the second coin.
I have three of these sets (sold one had four) and all the coins look MS, but as I have been led to understand they are proof sets

Were these 2 recently graded by ANACS? As in the last 3 months?

I don't think so.
