Not too much of interest. In fact, ended up paying too much on two items and possibly too much on a George V Jubilee medal.
However, I did come across this neat medal apparently commemorating a visit of George VI to Canada, in 1939. The Canadian map does not come out too well, in the photo.

The obverse is the Metcalfe conjugate portrait of Their Late Majesties, George VI and Elizabeth, may their names be for a blessing.

I really like the design of that medal, Harasha. image

If I'm not mistaken, DH had one of those a few years ago.

Yep, Darkhorse had a really awesome picture of the map side (which often doesn't come out so well!).. I wonder if it's still around?

Yours looks like a great example too image

I believe that medal is known in 4 sizes / metals.

Correction: Quarter dollar size (most common) in bronze were given to school children, half dollar size also in bronze, half dollar size in sterling silver, and gold (I don't know the size) special presentation pieces.

I have 3 of the 4. The small ones typically go for $3-$5, the larger bronzes for $5-$7, and the silvers around $12-$20.

The small bronzes are difficult to find in lustrous red and command a premium. The large bronzes are usually found in UNC as are the silvers.

Yours looks to have nice lustre and color.
