Well, I collect Elite Football every year and this is my 1st box of 2005 Elite Football (bought from local card store in Jacksonville, FL). Just thought I'd share and I'm interested in other box breaks.

what's a box running these days?
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I keep all my elite stuff unless I get doubles, but I am working on a 2000 torch auto set (PSA) and collecting the Throwback Threads set from 2000. My Montana is graded PSA 8; Marino PSA 9; Bart Starr PSA 10; Edgerrin James/Sayers PSA 8.

When you get a chance, can you post a scan? Thanx

BTW, a long while back I posted a "I wonder what happened?" thread and I thought of Kall...he was a good poster especially about new issues if memory serves....too bad he doesn't post anymore.

Hi Copper! Thanx for sharing. Some of use like scans of the better pulls if you have the time.

  • Nice break image. I bought about half a box today and a 2 full boxes on wednesday. 2 autos 2 jerseys out of wednesdays break and only a few die cuts today. Nice pulls of the past elite football..wish I was half that lucky image.

Not to toot my own horn, but this really is one of the great sets of modern football. The checklist is actually very good, I figure my pull
was on the bottom half of the pulls...they had others like Manning/Marino, Ben/Bradshaw and Montana/Brady...still nice:

Pretty cool! What's the pull odds? Cost of a box?

  • Boxes run anywhere from 65(I think u can find them this cheap on ebay)-100 if you buy them locally. 2 GU and/or auto's a box. There tend to be more boxes with two GU's then 1 GU and 1 auto, but thats just in my experiance. Decent buy and I agree with Kevin, very nice modern set.

Just not sure whether I will do a FB set this year - I spent too much on heritage, AGAIN, this year and may get hooked on fan favorite a bit - can't resist the autos!

Topps FB this year is supposed to be loaded. 50th Anniversary Edition.

Are all the topps cards the 50th anniversary edition? Like topps chrome and whatever other types they put out? Just curious cause from the pictures I've seen it just looks to be the regular topps issue...
