Question about 1961 Topps Stamps

I have seen a brown stamp and a green stamp. Is one a variation? What is the deal with that. Thanks for any help.

    208 stamps (207 players; two of Kaline) 104 green ones and 104 brown ones ( there is one of each color for Kaline)
