They actually ran the show twice last nite!

The winner, Tuan won almost 3 million! Not bad for a week's work. The surprise was the guy who came in second from Britain - an amateur player. Of course anyone who follows the WSOP also is aware that anyone may win. Chris Moneymaker who won the yr before last was in the "dead money" grouping.

Save me a chair at the next WPT event!

As a professional poker player and card collector, I can see the rising value in pro poker memorabilia. I just got back from Vegas for a portion of the WSOP and the top pros couldn't get a free minute without someone asking for an auto or a picture. I saw just about every big name in poker and even played in some tourneys with them at my table and in some side games as well. I wish I could report some big winnings but let's just say it was a learning experience. I did finish 86th in a big tourney of 2000 players and got a couple thousand $ profit for my 13 hours of work, but that's about as good as it got. When I got home I was crazy sick and needed about 15 hours of sleep to get caught up. Next time I will plan my playing time a little better and try not to overdo it.

You know anymore about this kid? I think we were friends as teenagers. There was this kid Tuan Lee, super independently wealthy from MAss. He had a Lotus esprit for his first car!

Tuan Le is about 26 and has been playing poker professionally for at least 3 years. Very aggressive style that seems to be working well in the big tourneys these days. That's all I know.
