Marty has a theory about the recent warp speed turnaround times for economy submissions.

The last few days we've seen turnarounds as low as eight days and many at under two weeks. Marty thinks it's because they're expediting them to get them booked before the end of the quarter. So, from now on, I'm only submitting at the beginning of each quarter-end month.

That's the theory I used to have (and follow!) up until late-2003, when everything went totally stupid and times ground to a halt. I hope Marty is right though!
