I got the 1885-CC Morgan VAM 4 "Thick Dash" PCGS MS65 for just over grey sheet Bid.
In fact, as I watched the auction online it sure seemd like there were a lot of Morgans that sold for Bid or even less. Are petals finally beginning to fall off of the blooming coin market runup?

When in doubt, don't.

I was in attendance and there were less than 10 people in the room

Wow. Any idea why the turnout was so low?

That's what it looked like as I watched on the Heritage website. Kind of makes you wonder how much longer they will go to the time, effort, expense and manpower of conducting floor sessions... not to mention the lavish buffets!
I picked up the last Barber half I needed , a 1905-O in PCGS 64. Still searching for a choice AU.

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !

The buffet wasn't so lavish this time -- in NYC a lavish buffet would be real expensive. Althoug, the food was very good
I won a 25-D Merc MS65FB.

For those of you in attendance at the auction, was there any sense of "why are we bothering to do this thing live and in person?" on the part of the Heritage folks?
I was outbid by the internet on every coin I wanted..
I was on vacation,so my mind wasn't really on coins...
