anyone get anything last night in the Heritage N.Y. auction?

I got the 1885-CC Morgan VAM 4 "Thick Dash" PCGS MS65 for just over grey sheet Bid. imageimage

In fact, as I watched the auction online it sure seemd like there were a lot of Morgans that sold for Bid or even less. Are petals finally beginning to fall off of the blooming coin market runup?
When in doubt, don't.

Wow. Any idea why the turnout was so low?

Dennis H - 90% of the sales were to internet buyers.

That's what it looked like as I watched on the Heritage website. Kind of makes you wonder how much longer they will go to the time, effort, expense and manpower of conducting floor sessions... not to mention the lavish buffets! image
    When in doubt, don't.

I attended the auction. I only won 2 lots. I had my eyes on several others, however, internet bidders bid me out of it. Poor turnout for the floor session though. I won a 1909 S VDB in F 15 (paid too much but was a high end F-15 that appealed to me) and an 1887 10c MS 64 with lovely reverse toning.

The buffet wasn't so lavish this time -- in NYC a lavish buffet would be real expensive. Althoug, the food was very good image

    I won a 25-D Merc MS65FB.

Nice coins one and all, folks!

For those of you in attendance at the auction, was there any sense of "why are we bothering to do this thing live and in person?" on the part of the Heritage folks?
    When in doubt, don't.

I was one of the 10 people in the room on silver dollar nite..

I was outbid by the internet on every coin I wanted..

I was on vacation,so my mind wasn't really on coins...
