I haven't, but I remember the user ID from a big, bad fiasco thread some time back. It didn't sound too good. Try a search with that name, and you'll find it.

  • I have purchased from him many, many times. He sells mostly raw dollars and halves, but occasionally he'll have a slabbed coin in there.

He typically sells "Blast White" coins. His pictures tend to be at such an angle as to show maximum whiteness in the coins. His shipping is extremely fast and the items are well packaged. I do, however, believe that his opinion of a coin's grade is about two or three points above mine, therefore I bid accordingly.

so I'm kinda sorta on the fence on this one,

his material is not what I'm looking for.

    I bought a 1913 T2 Buffalo 5c MS64 for $35 and a 1896 Morgan MS63 for $24.

I don't remember the coins so I guess I have no complaints.

Avoid coins where he states "You Grade". These are problem coins.

Other coins, take 2 points off his grade and bid accordingly. He doesn't use shill biddiers to my knowledge. His service, as stated is
    outstanding.

I avoid his auctions- all of the morgans look the same, i.e. are "blast" white, and to me, uninteresting.... image
My style is impetuous, my defense is impregnable !
  • Thanks for the input the only thing that really bothers me is that he has one buyer by the name of kexland who has bid on over 800 of his auctions and wins abouts 1/3 of them each month.
  • He tends to overgrade. Bought a couple of walkers and were not MS as he stated.

Don't forget about using the toolhaus site... Here's a link on this seller.
