You rub a lamp and a coin genie appears, granting you three numismatic wishes...

To complicate things, your first wish is granted for one day, the second for 30 days, and
the third and final wish is granted for life. And no, you cannot wish for more wishes.
What would you wish for?

Wish 2: Temporary job at Pinnacle Raririties for one month.
Wish 3: Dahlonega's eye for high quality coins and the good fortune to find them and recognize them when I see them.
(I assumed that I could not wish for money or wealth.)
2: Eradicate slab glare
3: have my wife like coins (otherthan for buying newspapers with)
2. That I could borrow the finest known examples of a few dozen of the best die varieties to photograph and send back home.
3. That every collector who came into the hobby could press an easy button and be well educated so they don't make mistakes that discourage them from continuing with the hobby.
Note that none of these involve making profit directly. My goal in numismatics is sharing education and experience, making money is secondary.

2.) I would magically know everything there is to know about coins - 30 days to write it down so I'd have it when my 30 days were up.
3.) I would be CEO of my own company which would include the following: TPG service, coin newspaper, coin shop (Managed by the best) - and all would be ranked as #1. - life
2. An ms 65 fugio sitting in an airtite when I get home from work.
3. Three more wishes (oh, OK...no more wishes) so...a set of MS 70 morgans
2) ditto
3) ditto
after posting this one, and you can see my wishes for your genie there.
As for my first wish from my genie, I'm torn between throwing a huge party
in the Fort Knox vault, or a day spent with the Smithsonian collection.

#1: A couple million dollars... (Then I go on a shopping spree and spend it all in a day then the leftover money can disappear
#2: To have the Logan/McCloskey reference collection for study... hopfully 30 days is long enough, cause my #3 I would want for life...
#3: A truly gem mint state 1802 Half-Dime

2. That cleaned coins be net graded by PCGS and NGC.
3. That the noses of every seller of every coin grow 1/8" every time they mislead or tell a lie.
<< <i>1. A trip to the southern branch mints during the civil war where I am able to buy gold at face and bring it back.
>>
Sorry, but the southern branch mints closed just before the outbreak of war and their gold was moved to the Confederate treasury. How about a trip to the Philadelphia mint in 1794 to buy some mint silver dollars and a few cents left over from the prior year?

Hey...I thought this was a wish?
But...Yeah, a trip to 1794 philly would be just fine too.

#1: The Tardis!
#2: Laura/Legend looses her voice and the ability to type every time she gets the urge to start a wannabe thread.
#3: Remove all dead personages from our coinage and make it manditory to change coinage designs every 20 to 25 years.

“Oh, great genie, I wish that I could accurately grade coins and be able to instantly tell if a coin has been cleaned and the origin of any toning.”
Yeah, yeah … I could practice and acquire the skill, but wishing for it is easier.

Ah man! You beat me to it. I was thinking the same wishes, except for for number 3 but I am with you 100%!
