3 22011391 1936 1C Dbld Die Obv-Type 2 USA Altered Surfaces
4 22011392 1936 1C Doubled Die Obv-Type 3 USA XF45BN
The first five I bought together from an old collection, paying (what was to me) a pretty strong price for coins that only recently has exploded in value (thanks, PCGS Registry!). In 64RD I stood to make a small profit, but I was really hoping for a couple of 65RDs for the endeavor to pay off. I'll take four out of five.
The other three coins are from my personal set of Lincoln die varieties, I was a little worried about the Die #2 getting bagged because the surfaces were a little porous. I had all three around VF35 to XF40, so again I can't be disappointed.
And what about those turn-around times?! I'm just waiting for PCGS to announce the next quarterly free submission so I can pull together another economy submission. Big thumbs-up all the way around to PCGS on this order.
