Every so often you get a really good deal on the Bay. Of course this isn't quite as good as scoring one of the estate sale 52 Mantle's or buying one of Nomar's off centered masterpieces, but this wasn't a bad pick up for 1 lousy penny.

lol 1 penny! Congrats man. I hope one day to get a "good deal" on a card(s) I really want. I seem to always end up paying top dollar. My lack of being patient probably has a lot to do with that

I saw that card and gave serious consideration to bumping it up to $.06 but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Nice buy!

Sweet. It really seems like 8's in the 70's and 80's have gotten really cheap. Good pick up.

Yeah, shipping. I bought a 67s Lee Thomas PSA 9 for $22 and change. Paid $7.50 in shipping. A third of the cost of the card. It is UPS ground, my fault though. Should have asked if they would send first class mail.

If memory serves me right the seller was only charging $1.50 for shipping. Seems resonable.
