Whatever happened to Jim Ruddy and Ray Merena?

I've been wondering about this for quite a while. Anyone know what the former partners of Q. David Bowers are up to. Are they both retired and out of the coin business or do they participate in the hobby in some other manner. I really have not heard anything about them for quite some time.

Read somewhere that Ruddy runs some sort of general store history museum. The other dude is no doubt comfortably retired after selling out to HRH.
