Hi All,
I picked these up at the show in Hartford, CT. this weekend. I'm offering them here first.......haven't even posted them to the web site yet! Prices include insured shipping. Paypal check or MO accepted.
(correction....coins will be added to the web site as the links to the pics show up on this thread...as that is where the pics are uploaded to.)
Pics can be taken and emailed upon request. I'll post a link to some pics as soon as I take some.
Dial-uppers be warned. The links will take you to some large pics!
The 3 Morgans and the Mercury dime came as a package deal. The seller wouldn't break them up. Negotiations lasted about 5 minutes. The 1880-S Morgan listed below was the only reason I kept going after he rejected my first couple of offers. My 13 year old son was drooling over it as the seller walked away from our table!
1913 $20 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle, ANACS MS-60. $600.00. It has a nice yellow color, with no obnoxious marks that jump out at the eye. There is a small black mark just behind the Eagle's wingtips.
1913 $20 Saint Gaudens, Double Eagle, ANACS MS-60
1941 Walker, NGC Proof-65. $800.00. This is a nice, white coin with GREAT mirrors! It'll be very hard to get good pics of this one, but I'll do my best.
1941 Walker, NGC Proof-65
1935 Mercury Dime, NGC MS-65. $30.00. This one is toned on both sides, a flat gold color on the obverse, and pale, gray/brown on the reverse with lavender undertones!
1935 Mercury Dime, NGC MS-65
1881 Morgan dollar, NGC MS-62. $45.00. This coin has semi-PL fields on both sides. The reverse has some pale auburn rim toning. The obverse has similar toning, lighter at the bottom, darkening slightly as it goes up with a dab of dark blue at the top and bottom!
1881 Morgan Dollar, NGC MS-62
SOLD 1879-S Morgan dollar reverse of 1879, NGC MS-63. $SOLD. This one has some colorful toning on both sides! It has a semi-PL field on the obverse, sporting a hint of pale lavender tone across the whole surface, darkening ever so slightly toward the top, where it changes to green from 10:00 to 11:00, and bright blue from 1:00 to 2:00! The reverse has great luster with hints of pale lavender (left) and gold (right), deepening to a pale purple at the base with green rims from 6:00 to 8:00 and blue rims from 4:00 to 5:00!
