Mail Call - Has the Mailman Been Good to You?

It's Monday and slow.

I picked up this PM10 button last week - Mantle is my favorite button.

Got 3 nice Heritage cards today - a Sosa black Refractor /56, a Johnny Podres 04 Real One Auto, and a Bobby Shantz 02 Real One.

    Nice looking button Mike.

    Thanx Barry -

    thanx Jeff
You bottom feedin on those autos? I was thinking of trying to pick up a bunch of the Fan Favorites this year - of course a few will go for bigger bucks - I'm hopin the Fan Fav's will go for less than the Heritage - those for the keys have been off the charts!

I got a whole whack of signed index cards of hockey hall of flame players from John.

So I've been busy making cards out of them. A lot more to go.. but these are the one's i've done so far.

  • Great looking "King" Clancy. The back looks like his Ice Kings card, but 100 times clearer.

Not a particulary rare card, but very seldom seen graded.

Yeah, Mike, I'm bottom feeding as always. Delivered prices for the 3 were $.75 for the Podres, $22.50 for the Shantz, and $22 for the Sosa. The fan favorites should be a lot less for commons - there are 130 in the set, as opposed to 20 or so for TH. You should be able to pick up at least 50 different for around 5 each if you were so inclined. It's going to be a drought for a while, but then what a glorious mailday it will be!
