What is the best deal out there today as far as rolls go? Mercury Dimes, V-Nickels, Wheat Ears, Silver Quarters, Morgans, IHCs... What is your favorite image

    Well, wheat ears cents run about 3x plus face value, lower than the other denominations.

    Rather than try to outguess the market, best is to have a few rolls of each. It is hard to predict which will do best in the next few years.

  • i think the best rolls are washingtons because they make new puarters wat every month so in a little while the'll be worth somthing more than just a puarter

    J/K. image Just because a new state quarter is put into circulation every couple of months does not mean all the Pre-Statehood Washington Quarters are going to go up in value. There are still billions of Pre-Statehood Quarters in circulation and anytime within my lifetime I cannot see them being worth more than face value (most of them, anyway). There is, however, a market for Pre-Statehood Washington Quarters in grades that are rare for that date and mint (I suggest you lookup "quarters" with "cladking" as the author to learn more about this market). Sliver Washington Quarters are generally worth just above the silver value in them unless they are in exceptional grade and/or a semi-key or key date.
