I saw one of Mike Lupica's books on the buck table at Barnes and Noble - I was almost tempted to pick it up.

Everyone is writing a book - in fact if you want to sound cool - get out a piece of paper and write your name and any title on it - "Life blows" e.g. - then when someone asks you what you are up to?....you can tell them that you are writing a novel. They will probably go....wow! I have always wanted to do that.
