Opinions on this 1853-O Gold $1

I was snipping late last night on eBay and saw a listing for an 1853 $2.5 Coronet Gold Coin 2 1/2 No Reserve that was at $120, so with seconds to spare I put a bid in at $125 and won the auction.
Then I scroll down and look at the big picture and see that it is an 1853-O $1 Gold piece, and there was a even a question posted about it
Q: Are you selliong a $2 1/2 or a $1 gold coin? Thanks, Bill Jun-23-05
A: You are quite correct, This is a one dollar coin. I sincerely apologize for the mistake. I cannot chnage the title after bids have been placed. Thanks for the heads up - no pun intended.
I'd grade it VF+, so it may be a "just OK" deal (if it's real
) but I was really bidding on the $2.50 Gold in the title.
Should I pay for the auction?

<< <i>I don't see the 'O' mintmark on it, it looks like a plain 1853 gold dollar, which is the most common type I. I would want my money back ! >>
LOL - I guess I really need to start looking at this stuff more closely.
Once I saw it was a $1 Gold coin, I just saw the () at the bottom of the wreath and said it was an O Mint mark
