"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
Will it be conducted live at the National? They had an on-site/online/Ebay/telephone auction at the NJ National. I did attend that auction which was 1st class! They served food & refreshments and I was able to meet several PSA registry set members.
Auction # 12910 - Superior August 2005 All-American Summer Sale Ends: August 4, 2005 7:00 PM PST.
Welcome To The All-American Summer Sale! The Official Auction of the 26th National Sports Convention
We are pleased to present another major sports card and memorabilia auction that closes for bids on August 4, 2005. This time we travel to Chicago as the Official Auctioneer of the 26th National Sports Convention, to show items from this auction as well as meet new and existing clients.
It has been our continual challenge to locate the high quality and wide diversity of cards and memorabilia it takes to build a Superior auction. Since our auction in March, we have doubled the number of lots of offer, expanded our memorabilia section, and have found many “One-of-Ones” to choose from.
We will also be taking nearly every lot to the National (the only exceptions are the large framed memorabilia). We will be showing lots from July 28 – July 31 during show hours. Please stop by our booth, #729, say hello to the Superior team and view these amazing lots.
