Software to put cards into a database..

Sorry if this has been asked 1000 times before.

I need some sort of computer program to easily enter complete sets of cards from a text file into a database which I can 'check off' which cards I have within the program, enter the grade, and price I paid.

Anyone know of some decent programs that I can use to do this in?

Microsoft Excel is perfect for creating checklists that keep track of card cost, grade, etc.
