I am talking denomination set.
Do you mean each date/mint of a particular coin type, like Franklin Halves 1948 - 1963? Or one of each type of a denomination produced (for 19th cent Morgan/Peace/Ike/SBA/Sac dollar)?
You can get a nice set of gem red/browns that would put you in fourth place on the all-time list for about $125. But while they're cheap, they're hard to hard.
A set of gem reds that would put you in first or second place could probably be had for a thousand -- but again, while they're cheap, red bronzes from the US Philippine series are murder to find.
Enjoy!
