Stewart, are ya feelin' the heat?

The Walsh collection has updated and is now closer to the #1 spot than any other previously listed set.

Is this a serious challenge or just another advertisement prior to a sell-off?

    Hi Jack

I don't think I feel any more heat than you do when a victim is brought into the emergency room bleeding profusely and it is up to you to heal him/her.
BTW New York is in a HEAT WEAVE AS IT HIT 100 DEGREES in some parts of the city. There is a subway series and a gay parade. And I'm stuck in the city trying to finish some work.
On the Lincoln front Laurens Lincolns is selling off at the San Francisco ANA and the Walsh collection will probably be sold at FUN.
You should be feeling the heat because you MAY wind up telling the wife that you want to mortgage the house to improve your Lincoln Cent collection.

    Stewart,

As usual, you are a wealth of information, on all fronts. New York City at over 100 degrees does not sound fun to me, but my wife is insisting that we move back. We may soon be neighbors!

I know, it sucks. All he needs is the 25-S. Granted a tough coin but put a 65RB in or something, the set would still rank in the top5 of all time, quite a collection.

    Stewart,

Be nice to Lloyd, you know he's kind of sensitive.

It'll be interesting to see if the upcoming sets are sold with the usual steep reserves.

I don't think anyone can catch Stewart unless several more early date
pop2 are made he just has to many of the early pop1 coins, and I might add
he probable has some dups of the lower pop early dates as well, so until
he decides to sell or a large group of unknowns shows up he will stay at the top
