Electroplating Blemishes

I have a Kennedy Half Dollar (1964). Proof-65 with a small blemish about the size of a pinhead on the neck. This was due to PVC damage. While it is minor, it still sticks out.

Would it be permissible to plate the little blemish to try and make it less noticeable? Or would it ruin the value? Would this be a disqualification from having it slabbed?

It definitely would prevent slabbing.

If you want a slabbed example without a blemish, it would probably cost less to find a PCGS certified PR65 or PR66 than it would to electroplate the coin !! And you would have to mask off the rest of the surfaces, to avoid electrolpating the other areas - the masking alone would put the mirrored fields at risk. Overall, a bad idea !! (P.S. My experience with electroplating comes from the world of manufacturing, not the world of coin doctoring.)
