I have always wondered why people certify this stuff. I can understand have an odd submission to use up, but surely there would be more significant coins lying around?
I have a variety that is pop 0/1/0 at NGC (only one graded) Certainly not a unique coin, just the only one they have graded. Will be dropping off 2 more at the Summer ANA.

I currently have 13 coins in my registry set that are pop 1's for that grade. Now I am talking about midgrade coins that most collectors have the good sense NOT to waste time and money holdering!
I have an Essai 1848 French pattern that is so unique that I own the holder, but it does not exist in the NGC pop reports....weird.
