Off Topic...Digital Cameras

my significant other got cute and took the battery out instead of the memory stick from our Sony digital camera.....well.....now its not recognizing the battery even though i placed it back in properly....keeps saying "for infoLithium C only"......it was fine until she did this....works when plugged into the wall but doesnt recognize the batter at all...anyone got any ideas why it would be doing this?? think she fried the battery?? could she have fried the connections to the battery which would be even worse???? 600 freakin dollar camera

I can't believe removing the battery would do all that...perhaps taking it to the store you bought it from, have them put in a battery and see if that fixes it, then put in yours?

Hope it works out for ya...sucks when the things we expect to work just up and stop.

Are you using the Real Sony batteries or did you buy the cheaper generic replacement ones?
  • I would try a new Sony battery and or Sony's website.

The batteries for Sony camera's are awful. You will probably have to replace the battery.
