Peace $ VAM collectors..... For your drooling pleasure

Since Peaceman posted a couple of his recent finds, or should I say rips, I thought I would throw up a couple I found at the last two shows I attended.

This coin is in a PCGS holder and has the VAM attribution number on it. I didn't know they used to attribute them?
The coin has to be about the latest die state example that exists.I have the early and late die states as shown in the VAM book but this break seems to keep on going and going and....
Please share your opinions as I think it is undergraded and plan on cracking it out for a resubmission.

Now, you can imagine my thoughts when I came across this one.

I pretty much had to pry it out of the dealers hand to get it.
It is in a first generation PCGS holder and I think its grade is correct, but please share your grade opinions.

The Tail O is a rare coin. Congrats on the purchases. I am sure they must have cost a pretty penny or two.

WOW. Very nice coins. The VAM # is on the slab? New slab old? I had a 2C in that LDS about a month ago. Very nice. The tail looks awesome too. Very nice.

PCGS did designate the 2C as "Die Break in Hair 2-C". Not sure what generation holder it is.It is a blue label using very small font for the date and series type.

Thanks for the comments. Still curious of others grade opinions.

Kind of hard to grade them. The 2C looks 3. THe Tail picture is not focused. Post a picture of the slab.

Nice! That's the largest breaks I've ever seen on those 2 varities. That Tail O is amazing.

Believe it or not it is in a 58 PCGS holder. Not sure what they were thinking when they graded this one(It is an older holder). I believe the coin is a 64. It might have a shot a 65. There are some slight hairlines across the neck and lower cheek area. I will be cracking it out and sending it in again.
