Any ideas for proper storage of an 1876 Philadelphia World's Fair medal?

Hopefully Askari could chime in as he seems to be familiar with World's Fair medals by doing a search on the forum. It's about three inches in diameter and a bit under half an inch thick. It doesn't have it's original presentation case. Obviously, it's too big for any holders or slabs, so I was just looking for suggestions on how to protect this medal. I believe it is copper. Thanks sincerely for any information provided.
I've been shifting my focus to other areas of numismatics to try and regain some interest so I'm a newbie when it comes to the darkside material, medals, and tokens. However, it's refreshing to see beautiful new designs that I've never encountered before. It's almost like starting a new hobby but with a bit of a head start.
Thanks again for any info.

Mike

Maybe a jewelry store will have some sort of nice box?

Here's that thread: Linkage. I also have a custom-made Solidcraft (solid-craft.com) display for a medal without a slab. (Search for forum-member Solid--this is his work--quite fabulous). He would need dimensions of your medal, and he does have some limitations for size. Very nice display.

BTW: Askari hasn't logged on in awhile (image)--I think someone said he is taking a break. Hopefully he will be back soon!
