Is this new? does anyone know about this? topps and psa?

I ran accross this while looking through Topps Vault items... looks like a topps logo on a psa slab... not sure what the implications are if any...

I was looking at those also, the only thing I can think of is that they were preproduction cards for the new Star Wars cards and they stamped each card 1 of 1, so there is only one of that card made I presume. So I am sure topps arrange something with PSA to do the flips. Would not pay those prices for that though.

I give the "vault" credit for a good promotion. I'm a fan of the vault and they have great items that I have not seen very often anywhere else.

I think there's probably more marketing going on for PSA than profit on the amount of flips involved.

But, I wouldn't be surprised - some day - to see more of this kind of promotion from other companies.
