These satin mint sets are really nice-even this Kennedy looks good.

I am really pleased with these new sets. Besides for these 2 breaks on the shield, this coin is perfect.

    It's funny. I could not find a single kennedy that didn't have a scratched shield. Most of mine are perfect with the exception of the shield. It's frustrating

    I opened the 4th set of my 15 and discovered two very interesting Denver State Quarters, Kansas and Oregon. Both coins have PL devices and mark free satin fields and if I submitted them without the mylar I feel they would grade as business strikes. This points to the big problem with the sets, are they BU or SMS?

    Most of my Kennedys have shield scratches. And on some the eagle's head has been ground down! If the shield is scratch free, there will be scratches on the wing leading edges.
