There were a couple varieties of the yellow-brown 1 1/2 cent Harding stamp. The St Louis MO mark is called a precancel. They used to cancel stamps before separating from coils or sheets for large mailers; kind of like bulk mailing today. There are many city, states that have their names on many issues. Most are worth a few cents. There are several organizations/clubs that specialize in precancels and many ways to collect these. Hope this answers your question.

Thanks Doug , I was hoping for more than "a few cents" LOL maybe nextime .
There is another that looks like the Scott 596 mentioned a few posts down ,
curious as if it could be the one . There are a couple other ones you'll have
to take a look at when I get a pic. uploaded ! Also I have a vertical pair that
are redish marroon color that just have a 1 in the middle of the stamp and say
postage due across the top and they are still attatched to one another what
    might these guys be ???

It will be difficult to identify some stamps by pics. Many issues had the same design, but differed in perfs and watermarks. The "596"s posted earlier were not 596s but rather the common 632. Both look exactly the same, but the perfs are different.

Your 1c with postage due is a postage due stamp. These were used when the sender didn't put enough postage on the letter.
