A few days ago I went to the bank. I bought some halves and some quarters from the teller. Low and behold, in the coins I found a 1969 D half in VF+ and a 1964 P quarter in VF+. Nothing that I can retire on, but finding 40% and 90% silver in change is a treat. Hard to imagine a 1964 P quarter still being in circulation in the S.F. Bay Area (3000 miles away from Philly) more than 40 years after silver was eliminated from our circulating coinage.

Also a couple of days ago I finally received a 2005 Jefferson/Buffalo nickel in change. Denver mint. My first 2005 nickel. Have to put in in a flip.

I found a 67 and a 68 half in $120.00 . That is one in 120 coins. Is this good?

I had a nice circulation find yesterday - a 1938 Jefferson Nickel. It would grade around F12.
