"KEY DATE 1870-S SEATED LIBERTY DIME IN A SOLID VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION". That is the net grade after the seller took the scratch into account. I think this guy just missed the top 10 in the Grading World Series. Auction
Sad... seems like he's trying but doesn't know his but from a whole in the ground. I looked at abunch of his past auctions and nothing as outrageous as this. Just sad,... If it's real, I think ANACS would say: VG details, corroded, cleaned (badly not just harshly), damaged-gouged (not just scratched), net poor 1 or cull 0. It actually would have some value as a filler, but god forbid anybody would think it's a VG. Just plain sad... Rediculous starting price, you'd think it was a 71-CC.

I don't have a problem with this auction. They should all have pics this clear to help make a buying decision. You may not agree with his "net" grade but I think he did a very good job of showing and describing the coin.

See how he synthesizes all those details and comes up with a VG.
