Cents from the 1970's and 80's

I can't see myself paying a premium for BU examples for these dates so my Lincoln cents album remains blank up to about 1996 when I started collecting. I also have the earlier wheats up to '58. I just don't see the point in going to a dealer and paying to fill those empty holes for cents that won't gain much value. Circulation finds are tough even in these later dates and that is where I found most of my material. I'm wondering if I should omit the blank pages and move on or keep them even though I have no intention of filling them. For those of you who have the Dansco 7100 Lincoln cent album w/o proofs, do you know if Dansco will make another page after 2006 for this album or start a new album?

spring 40c for the '84-D, fine, but coins like the '75-D can't be any cheaper. The
value on some of these is so low that you can't ship rolls or bags because the
postage will leave you with less than face value. This means that such coins us-
ually go into circulation when they become available. You can buy a 1980 mint
set for less than face value and spend all the coins except the cent. The draw-
back is they just might be gems and the cost will be negative. Most coin shops
have a few rolls lying around gathering dust. Or look in the back of Coin World
in the classified ads. There are lots of people who'll do all the work for you and
sell the complete memorial set for only ten or fifteen dollars. You won't find any
gems in these and there will be precious few in the rolls but most of the coins will
be nice solid no problem uncs.
The attrition on unc cents from the last few decades is still extremely high. These
were set aside in much smaller numbers than some of the earlier coins to start with
and still they go into circulation because the demand is so low. While none of these
coins are scarce or rare there are several issues that will require more effort and
more time to locate in nice choice condition. None of these are likely to get cheaper
in the future while a whole new generation of collectors is discovering them.

I'd give you the world, just because...
Speak to me of loved ones, favorite places and things, loves lost and gained, tears shed for joy and sorrow, of when I see the sparkle in your eye ...
and the blackness when the dream dies, of lovers, fools, adventurers and kings while I sip my wine and contemplate the Chi.
