WTB: Looking for a PCGS, NGC or ANACS Fugio ...

... I would like to buy a PCGS certified Fugio and am looking for a great deal. I also have some MS65 CC Morgans ( 1882 CC, 1883 CC, 1884 CC, 1885 CC) that I would be willing to trade for one. Thanks for looking :-)

A lot of people have said that the PCGS grading standards for early copper like Fugios are looser than the generally accepted market standards, so what may appear to be a good deal might not be that good. What grade are you looking for?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • I would consider NGC as well ... I amlooking for any MS grade ... MS 60 - 64.
  • XF or AU ok too :-)

I would suggest you check with a colonial expert-- there's a fellow always next to Chris McCauley's table at LB, colonials is his thing. He has long silver hair, but I can't remember his name.

    Here's CVM's website.
