i was hoping for much better results coming from an unopened box (at least a few more 9's and 10's ).

I guess your money is greener???Attn: SOMEBODY AT PSA LOOK ABOVE............................ When I pay the same exact money to join the collectors club and the same exact money to have the cards graded why do they get theirs before mine? Is anyone at PSA ok when they pay the same money for something only to take a backseat to someone else? "Hi oil company I need an oil delivery" OK allow 7 days for delivery. Your next door neighbor the next day "Hi same oil company I need an oil delivery " OK allow 7 days for delivery. Next day you hear the oil truck backing up but in your neighbors driveway??????? "Hi oil company how come my neighbor that called a day later than me is getting oil before me? Oil company person" Sorry it takes 7 days for delivery and you are on day 2" "But but I paid the same money for my service contract and the same amount of money per gallon? "I am not sure? You order was recieved 2 days ago and it takes 7 days for delivery......

I don't know where coming from that train of thought "Jackstraw", but maybe this will help you.

My 1ST SUB---573713 arrived at PSA'S mailbox May7th,2005

My 2ND SUB---574994 arrived at PSA'S mailbox June 8th,2005

both of those subs are shown above.

My 2ND SUB arrived a week ago. My 1ST SUB will be arriving tomorrow. Explain that one to me.

I was just saying that I/you/nobody should take a backseat because they send in odd cards! They should grade first in first out ! No way should anybodys cards that are received on the 15th be graded/shipped and received and still have cards received on the 1st sitting in the grading room! Not on the same special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Leaves a bad taste in my mouth! I just won't send anything in anymore if this is the way its going to be? I can live with my cards in CS1's.

I disagree with the 1st in 1st grade mentality. Why would they not grade something that they have 10's-100's of people that are knowledgable on when they are doing research on oddball cards that only a few have seen frequently? JMO but when I submit cards they have not seen before, I expect them to take longer than 70's and 80's BB & FB.

That being said, our money is not greener but they don't have to work as hard for it. Therefore they would rather satisfy a multitude of equally priced submissions that take little to no time to research, then spend all there time researching oddballs just to appease a 1st in 1st out mentality. They are just using a better business model and that may be why they are a PILLAR in the industry. Again, JMO and my business sense.

jackstraw has a pretty dang valid point. Most of submission/turnaround times are relatively the same, but if/when they do have longer turnarounds, they should contact us and let us know what the deal is. I dread assuming, but I assume they haven't contacted you yet regarding your submission?

They are a profitable company, thanks to us, so they should be held accountable. Don't get emotional get rational. Contact psa and tell them your concerns. They should empathize your concerns and, hopefully, explain what the dilly is. If anything, they will be aware of you.

I have had (luckily) very good experiences in submissions, however all my submissions are for vintage cards....

I did call several times and got nothing but UHHHHHHHHS and UMMMMMMMMMMMMS. I could not get a straight answer from anyone in customer service. Sad part is i used to live 30 minutes from them (Newport Beach) and it still took this long last year, and the year before and the year before that. Nothing has changed. I would be interested if anyone knows off hand what rating the management has received from the Wall Street Journal. Since this stock is on the market last i heard. My guess would be less than 76.

I have called 5 times this week. Monday I got its in the second tier of grading? Tuesday I got oh I didn't realize I will push it through for you?
Wednesday I got its in grading. Wednesday night got its in grading and received the same answer from there on out. I don't believe that the first in first out grading system on 5.00 specials is out of line. Carew29 sent in OPC cards from the 70's and 80's? Thats considered odd?
Topps tiffany's is considered odd? But 77 Topps Mexicans are not considered odd? I am sure Newport beach is flooded with the 77 Topps Mexicans ! They didn't seem to have a problem with the 77 OPC's? How do you feel about the submission received on 5/6 still being there? That seems a little out of line for a good business model?

Point taken, maybe you should use a 5 day guarantee if you want them to ensure your cards will be out in 5 days. This was my submission prior to the most recent:

That I thought was quite a long time as well, however sometimes you get what you pay for. I was actually given grades over the phone in mid May and they told me they were shipping out soon. I then called a week later and they said they were in grading. When they posted my grades on 6/8 they were different from what I was told in mid May(they were better so I didn't raise a fuss). I do agree that the customer service is lacking, but they stand by their guaranteed times so they realistically aren't doing anything wrong in not doing a 1st in 1st out.

As for those Topps Mexicans, they were straight out of wax packs that I bought from a very reputable dealer and am fairly certain were not resealed. I did not mark no qualifiers, so whoever graded them maybe should have researched them a little more to know that pack fresh cards should not get graded 5's and 6's. I think they're scale on these cards is way off considering only 4 out of 600 submitted have ever gotten a 9.

I am all for getting what you pay for answer. I am not for you get what you pay for but the other guy doesn't? If there was a 45 business day return on all submissions then I am ok with it but when it only effects certain submissions like carews,cubfan and mine it bothers me that they can say well there is no guarentee on your order but we are pumping the others out before yours and maybe if we have a slow day here soon we will look at yours? Goes back to if you don't want me to submit cards tell me and I will go away. Untill I get some sort of logical answer why my order sits there and yours , which is received 15 days after mine gets graded first, other than you get what you pay for I will continue to complain about their business model! I will always have a problem with somebody getting better/faster service on the same special!
