this is my latest carving on a morgan dollar, it was carved by hand tools and took about 18 hours... carved by hobo nickel carver billzach

    That's amazing!!! The old hand carved buffalo nickels are a marvel to look at. It's just pure talent and artistry. I didn't even know folks carved silver dollars too. That's a beautiful piece.

    Neither did I, Thats the first morgan I have seen like that and am quite impressed, GOOD JOB!

    IF you do one with Monica Lewinski and that wasn't a pipe you could call it a Slick Willie Dollar!!!
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    I saw a half dozen hobo nickels at a flea market on Sunday. I bought some Morgan dollars from the guy, but passed on the carved nickels. I've seen your art work before. After viewing your amazing carvings, that flea market stuff looked like crap. You do beautiful work!
