Speaking of mint packaging...

I was horrified to find a tear in the slipcover to my 1996 Smithsonian two coin set. Do you guys save the slip covers to the mint boxes/cases or toss 'em after sending them off for grading? I don't know how important this is but i am currently looking for a slipcover. Seems rather silly but i like authenticity.

I am with you. I have some itemns in my collection purchased in 1939 that still have the original bag of purchase, the price sticker and the receipt image Original packaging is very important. Many items I collect - the box is worth more than the item itself.
