Speaking of mint packaging...

I was horrified to find a tear in the slipcover to my 1996 Smithsonian two coin set. Do you guys save the slip covers to the mint boxes/cases or toss 'em after sending them off for grading? I don't know how important this is but i am currently looking for a slipcover. Seems rather silly but i like authenticity.

I am with you. I have some itemns in my collection purchased in 1939 that still have the original bag of purchase, the price sticker and the receipt Original packaging is very important. Many items I collect - the box is worth more than the item itself.
