Does anyone have experience to share about EBAY stores?

I am tempted to do try the free month but I cant find the terms and conditions. I saw the FV fees which are a bit higher. I have a few questions:
1)Do the cards in your store show up when someone does a search just like if you were auctioning something?
2)Do you sign up for a certain period of time or is it a month to month thing?
3)Can you try the free month and cancel if you like?
Regards,
Alan

I can only address your 1st point....
My experience is that ebay is quite inconsistent when I perform searches for items. More often than not I only receive regular auction listings when I do a search. I do have a complex search that I run daily and for some reason it ALWAYS returns regular listings PLUS store listings. I'm not sure what triggers that behavior and it is quite annoying that all searches don't act the same!!!
Additionally my wife had recently been looking for a specific baby stroller for our daughter-in-law and there was only one listed on her ebay search... however she lost out in the bidding. Turns out the seller immediately sent out a second-chance offer to my wife because they had two more of the exact same model in their ebay store! These had never shown up in her ebay searches. Happily, the buy-it-now price of the store listing was LESS than what the seller's regular auction listing went for.
I work in software development and frankly I find the ebay interface (in my opinion) to be very poorly designed and lacking in performance. It's scarey to think how much money ebay could really generate if their interface wasn't so cumbersome and complex for their customers!
Hope you find this somewhat helpful,
Tom
