First time I have seen this. Not that I keep up on what GAI is doing.

  • They've been doing it for awhile now. I bought a few tom glavine GAI autos from a dealer a few months ago. I think it's a worthwhile service because it provides a little more worth and appeal for auto regular cards.

Yeah, They'll do the same thing PSA/DNA will do. Authenticate the auto and mark it "Authentic" and slab it, or they can authenticate and grade.
  • I bought a boggs , one day I will cross it over to have it graded. 1983 Rookie with a shot at a 9 .

I looked at the GAI site and could not navigate to the autograph grading service or pricing. Anybody know the cost and turnaround? I have not tried calling yet.

blah why even bother with them.. you won't get as much for the autograph as you would for an autograph in a PSA/DNA holder and I wouldn't really trust that the autograph is real even after they authenticate as real.

Click on "Service Info -> Authenticating -> Service Center"

That should get you what you're looking for.

I believe you need to pay the $10 "Autograph Opinion" fee, and then a $5 holder fee. An email or phone call would probably be best to be sure.

You can also look at what psa/dna offers as well. I know they are/were running a $20 special for a while, don't know if its still good or not.
